Blow Out!

Pulling out of work yesterday, it felt like I was driving on a square tire so I knew something was wrong. Fortunately, there was a tire store across the street, so I hobbled over there. Sure enough, my left front Dunlop tire was flatter than a pancake, so I asked the mechanic to check it out. Expecting a small hole that could be patched, I instead was greeted by a collapsed inner sidewall, effectively ending the tire's usefullness.

True, these are the stock tires from the factory, but I've owned tires that were much older and much more worn that never imploded before. Looks like it's time to buy four new tires and I'll be sure to scratch Dunlop off my list!
